We are once again thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for our YMCA community to experience a day of fun and baseball at Fenway Park! In partnership with three New England YMCA Alliances and the Boston Red Sox, we invite you to be a part of YMCA Day at Fenway Park on Monday, April 20 at 11:15 am in Fenway Park!

This event promises to be a fantastic day out for the whole family, filled with unforgettable moments and the electric atmosphere of America’s favorite pastime. And here’s the best part—our members have exclusive access to discounted bleacher seats for just $41 per ticket!

Don’t miss this chance to cheer on the Red Sox alongside your fellow YMCA members and supporters. Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or simply looking for a fun outing, YMCA Day at Fenway Park is an event not to be missed.

Learn to Snorkel

Be ready for your next day at the beach! Learn the basics of snorkeling with Dave MacDonald. All equipment will be provided. Bring your bathing suit and towel. Maximum of 12 participants only. For children & adults 8 years and older. Children under the age of 15 must have an adult in the water participating.

One hour of class time and 1 hour of pool time

LIFEGUARDING WITH BLENDED LEARNING
Perfect for strong swimmers ages 15 and up who are proficient in:
• Front Crawl • Breaststroke • Side Stroke
• Elementary Back Stroke • Treading Water (legs only for 2 minutes)
• Swim 550 yards continually (waterfront/lifeguard)
• Swim 300 yards continually (lifeguard)
• Retrieve 10 lb brick from bottom of pool

All lifeguard candates must take the lifeguard prerequisite swim prior to signing up for the lifeguard course. Please register for this under Special Events : Clinics, Training & Certs.- Lifeguard Prerequisite Swim Evaluation

BLENDED LEARNING (approximately 6 hours. MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE FIRST IN-PERSON SKILL SESSION) 

LIFEGUARDING IN-PERSON SKILLS TRAINING (approximately 22 hours)

Moving Through Menopause

Strength In Menopause is an 8-week group wellness program is for those in any stage of menopause looking to learn how to strength train safely and effectively in a supportive group setting (includes Peri & Post). Starts January 27, 2026.

Nourishing Menopause covers common symptoms, key nutrients that can help with balancing hormones, weight management strategies, supplements, and other topics like sleep, stress management and alcohol consumption that can help with overall wellness. Perfect for anyone wanting help in finding sustainable tools to feel their best during this stage of life. Starts February 2, 2026.

Step into the next phase of life confident and strong. Embrace menopause, not with confusion and isolation, but with a supportive community, and fitness goals that empower. Scuba Experience

This one day course will let you experience the use of Scuba equipment and what to expect when going underwater. Classroom from 11:30-12:30 pm followed by in water training from 12:30-2:30 pm.

Strong, Resilient, Safe: Yoga for Better Bones

Join Barbara Polowy, E-RYT500 for this two class series.

Regular yoga practice has been shown to stabilize and even reverse osteoporosis and osteopenia by improving bone density and bone quality. Yoga also promotes good posture, thus helping to maintain spinal integrity, and builds overall strength, balance, and focus to reduce the risk for falls.

This series of two classes will benefit anyone who has or is at risk for osteoporosis or osteopenia and is interested in yoga as a complementary therapy to standard medical treatment. Each class will include a series of postures to build healthy bones and improve balance as well as guidance on modifying standard yoga poses to ensure skeletal safety.

Weightlifting Clinics with RJ

Women's Boxing Foundations

Join former competitive fighter and USA Boxing certified coach, Vanesa Chakour, for progressive boxing classes. Learn fundamentals of pro-style boxing, including footwork, balance, coordination, agility, cardio, reflexes, defensive techniques, and partner drills. Open to both beginners and experienced boxers looking to refine their skills. These classes are for women only for a safe and empowering experience.
