Family & Youth Programming
Our Youth and Family programs provide opportunities for families to gather and play as a family unit while meeting other families. We also offer options for children to be watched in a safe space while you exercise. Most activities are free or reduced cost with a YMCA Family Membership.

FCY Lifeguard judgment is final – they have complete discretion to ensure the safety of members, staff, and guests.
- All swimmers must take a shower before entering the pool or spa.

- Appropriate swim attire is required. No t-shirts, cut-offs or street clothes may be worn.
- Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times
- Children 13 and under will be asked to take a swim test.
- Parents/guardians of children 13 and under need to be in the pool area.

- Swimmers requiring a floatation device of any kind, weak non-swimmers, and those who decline or do not pass the swim test are strongly suggested to wear a lifejacket and must stay in the shallow end and have a parent/guardian in the water within arms reach of the swimmer at all times.
- The lifeguard has the discretion to ask anyone to take the swim test before swimming in the deep end of the pool.
- Everyone must exit the water while the lifeguard is performing a swim test unless there are two lifeguards on duty.
